PBIS

What is PBIS?

PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. It is dedicated to teaching and encouraging safe, respectful, and responsible behaviors. We celebrate students for making positive choices that align with our school expectations. When a student needs assistance in meeting these expectations, we provide guidance to help them learn the appropriate behavior. If necessary, an Office Discipline Referral (ODR) may be issued, but our primary goal is to support each student's growth.

Achievement Gap Reduction

The Achievement Gap Reduction (AGR) program, established by the Wisconsin State Legislature in 2015, is an initiative to close achievement gaps and foster student success. Schools participating in AGR have the opportunity to implement one of three effective strategies:

  • Reducing Class Sizes: This approach allows for more individualized attention, ensuring that each student feels supported and engaged.

  • Providing Instructional Coaching for Teachers: By enhancing data-driven practices through coaching, teachers can deliver even more effective instruction and support for their students.

  • Offering One-to-One or Small-Group Tutoring: This targeted support helps students receive the personalized assistance they need to excel academically.

Title I

Title I is a federal program that provides money to school districts to help children become successful learners. The purpose of Title I is to provide extra educational services for children who need additional help to be successful in school.
